The Mitsubishi MV2400S is a high-precision wire electrical discharge machining (EDM) system engineered for the machining of complex geometries in electrically conductive materials. It operates using a continuously fed wire electrode submerged in a dielectric fluid, which removes material via rapid electrical discharges. This mechanism allows for burr-free, stress-free machining, making it ideal for intricate internal contours, tight tolerances, and delicate features. 

The MV2400S is optimized for cutting work pieces with varyign thickness through adaptive power modulation and high-frequency pulse generators. The system is suitable to process wide range of materials and has provision to mount EOS M290 and EOSM100 build plates.
